Request for volunteer Reiki practitioners for Palliative/Rehab CLC care unit at the VA hospital. Request for my own Reiki treatment as a cancer survivor
My name is Cathy Williams. I am a Recreation therapist who works on the 4th floor of the VA Hospital at San Mateo and Gibson.
We have a volunteer program for the Palliative/Hospice patients. Volunteer training for that is done through our chaplain, Kathy, in Chaplain Services on the 2nd floor.
Regular volunteer training including required volunteer orientation is done through JoAnn Chavez of Volunteer Services. Phone 265-1711 press 0 and ask for JoAnn Chavez in Volunteer Services to get started.
I will probably have to get permission from my supervisor, Coral Snowdeal, of Stroke and Rehab to have Reiki practitioners come in for the regular Rehab patients.
